King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital and Seth G.S. Medical College ((マラーティー語:Rājā Êḍvarḍ (Sātavē) Smārak Rugṇālaya Va Sēṭh Gōvardhandās Sundaradās Vaidyakīya Mahāvidyālaya)) is amongst the foremost teaching and medical care providing institutions in India. It was founded in 1926 in Mumbai. The Seth G.S. Medical College is affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik 〔http://www.muhsnashik.com/college1.asp M.U.H.S. A nursing school is also maintained by the institution. Dr Avinash Supe is the current dean of the college. ==Location== The medical college and hospital is located in South Mumbai in an area called Parel. This locality is home to the middle and lower middle class citizens of Mumbai. It also has many medical centers in an area of a square kilometer.
